The Fabricator in our Manufacturing Support Department (MSD) is responsible for a multitude of fabrication duties throughout the company. These can include but are not limited to; fabrication of machine stands, machine guards, tables, racking, and repairs to existing fixtures. Job Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities General metal fabrication Repair of existing fixtures Fabrication of safety guards Fit and assembles parts to remake or repair machine tooling Basic design of fabricated tools Assist with the assembly and testing of in-house designed equipment Machine parts to specifications using machining tools such as conventional lathes, milling machines or grinders. Job Requirements Key Competencies Advanced metal fabrication and mechanical skills TIG/MIG welding Ability to read CAD drawings Good organizational and communication skills Clear understanding of physical geometry Basic understanding of measurement Simple conversion of fractions to decimals Basic understanding of angles Use of cold saw, band saw, drill press and disc sander Good organizational skills Team player We offer competitive salary and benefits.
