Job Summary: Project Manager
  • Heavy customer interface - negotiate, contract and pricing resolution, change orders, etc.
  • Responsible for project budget, revenue and cash flow, schedule, planning, reporting and organization
  • Manage execution of domestic and international industrial project contracts for engineered equipment in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Manage client expectations and project performance to achieve customer satisfaction within Company profit / risk goals
  • Responsible for project budget, revenue and cash flow, schedule, planning, reporting and organization. Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for project administration and control
  • Responsibility for system design, manufacture and startup of engineered skid system projects including overall system design, P&ID’s, customer interface drawings, assembly and fabrication drawings, bills of materials and specification compliance
  • Act as primary contact between the Company and the customer’s project team to make certain that all contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
  • Appropriately respond to complex issues regarding contract obligations and revisions, and negotiate favorable contract changes to address scope changes
  • Identify risks and issues, evaluate alternatives that lead to the best solution
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
  • Prepare and disseminate contract status, risk elements and financial condition information to management
  • Review product design for compliance with customer contract requirements and related specifications
  • Translate and transmit customer requirements to Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing departments
  • Provide leadership and direction for project team ensuring that members are properly motivated and assignment parameters are communicated clearly to team members including properly managed kickoff and design review meetings with the team
  • Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, manufacturing and resolving engineering design and test problems
  • Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications and drawing releases
  • Provide technical support to marketing as required for sale and turnover of projects
  • Support and follow ISO 9001 Operation Requirements

    Qualifications:
  • BSME or BSEE with 10-15 years applicable industry experience.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve contract and pricing issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to productively interact with all staff levels
  • Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI standards
  • Experience with managing industrial equipment system projects including tank, piping, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, and structural elements
  • Experience working with utility power plant and/or petrochemical plant applications preferred
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office skills required. MS Project skills preferred.
  • United States Citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.A. without sponsorship
