PROJECT MANAGER PTS Staffing Solutions Santa Ana, CA 6/11/2013 Save Job Sign in Now >> Email Print Report Apply Now Job Description .Job Summary: Project ManagerHeavy customer interface - negotiate, contract and pricing resolution, change orders, etc.Responsible for project budget, revenue and cash flow, schedule, planning, reporting and organizationManage execution of domestic and international industrial project contracts for engineered equipment in accordance with Company policies and proceduresManage client expectations and project performance to achieve customer satisfaction within Company profit / risk goalsResponsible for project budget, revenue and cash flow, schedule, planning, reporting and organization. Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for project administration and controlResponsibility for system design, manufacture and startup of engineered skid system projects including overall system design, P&ID’s, customer interface drawings, assembly and fabrication drawings, bills of materials and specification complianceAct as primary contact between the Company and the customer’s project team to make certain that all contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptlyAppropriately respond to complex issues regarding contract obligations and revisions, and negotiate favorable contract changes to address scope changesIdentify risks and issues, evaluate alternatives that lead to the best solutionReview and manage contractual obligations of the parties to ensure that all terms and conditions are metPrepare and disseminate contract status, risk elements and financial condition information to managementReview product design for compliance with customer contract requirements and related specificationsTranslate and transmit customer requirements to Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing departmentsProvide leadership and direction for project team ensuring that members are properly motivated and assignment parameters are communicated clearly to team members including properly managed kickoff and design review meetings with the teamCoordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, manufacturing and resolving engineering design and test problemsEvaluate and approve design changes, specifications and drawing releasesProvide technical support to marketing as required for sale and turnover of projectsSupport and follow ISO 9001 Operation Requirements Job Requirements .Qualifications:BSME or BSEE with 10-15 years applicable industry experience.Ability to negotiate and resolve contract and pricing issues Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to productively interact with all staff levelsKnowledge of ASME, API, ANSI standardsExperience with managing industrial equipment system projects including tank, piping, mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, and structural elements Experience working with utility power plant and/or petrochemical plant applications preferredComputer skills: Microsoft Office skills required.
