The Senior Actuarial Analyst will perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling that provides management with analytical findings and conclusions. This individual will carry out calculation of reserves, forecasting healthcare costs and trend analysis.
 
Other Responsibilities include:
• Data analysis
• Actuarial modeling
• Participating in internal client relationships
• Designing and running complex data programs
• Performing quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data.

Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or a related degree.
• Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of two or more actuary exams (ASA or FSA designation preferred).
• Three or more years of experience working in a corporate/actuarial environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data analytics
   (Experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred)
• Advanced level of proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, calculations. pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
• At least an intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word and Access.
• Strong level of proficiency in programming (SAS and SQL is preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
