HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM
PAY RATE: $20/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
SmartSource, Inc is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 3-6 month opportunity with the possibility of going direct with our customer located in Weston, MA. The technician will need to do local travel between Cambridge and Weston. We need a reliable person who has a great personality to provide daily support of both hardware and software. The hardware in place and all desktops and laptops with some minimum tablets as well as software support in a Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7 Environment.
DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Must have a clean criminal background and be able to pass a drug background check
A+ certification IS A MUST
3+ years experience working in the IT Field
Solid background troubleshooting hardware (Desktops and Laptops)
Solid background with software troubleshooting (Windows XP and Windows 7)
Any imaging background is a big plus
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints a must.
