Compensation: $53,181.99 to $65,000.00 per year
Our client, based in Orange County, is looking for a Loan Officer specializing in commercial and income property with minimum 5+ years of experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $55K-65K base with great commission structure!
Details of the role are as follows
Supports achievement of established loan goals by generating, recommending and closing multifamily and non-residential real estate mortgage loans. Acquires, builds and deepens relationships through effective relationship management in accordance with business goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
Source new business of multifamily and non-residential real estate mortgage loans while adhering to the institution's credit guidelines and professional practices. Loan origination volumes of $50MM to $75MM per annum is expected for this position. Acting as the central point of contact for borrowers, intermediaries, internal team members and third party vendors, the Loan Officer oversees and coordinates the efficiency and integrity of the transactions process including underwriting, due diligence, closing and servicing in support of meeting aggressive production objectives for the region. The Loan Officer manages all aspects of loan origination process, including presentations to senior management, debt structuring, pricing strategy, transaction negotiation and closing, and due diligence review. Develops and cultivates high quality relationships with new prospects while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing institutional clients.
Minimum of five years experience in income property loan origination with a financial institution;
Must have established wholesale and retail business relationships;
Hands on experience and technical knowledge of income property mortgage origination, processing and funding systems, loan cash flow analysis and calculation of debt;
Ability to analyze financial statements and business conditions to make solid credit decisions;
Solid understanding of income property policies and procedures, State and Federal compliance requirements;
Bachelors degree in real estate, finance or a related field preferred.
