EW Program Manager

Job Description:

This position is to develop strategy and provide PM leadership to the SEWIP Block 3 (Surface Electronics Warfare Improvement Program) pursuit which will lay the foundation for potential significant business growth critical to the future of the EW business area.  SEWIP Block 3 is a new program area that addresses the customer need for an EA phased array EW transmitter system solution, a new high power EA system for Navy Surface Combatant ships replacing the existing SLQ-32. This PM works alongside the Capture Lead and Chief Engineer, driving rigor and program discipline in the pursuit phase ensuring we can execute the program. In addition to strong leadership skills, this position requires an understanding and knowledge of the Navy customer community and acquisition processes to include requirements development.  This role will define and create a sustainable and executable strategy for this new product line.

Required Skills: 
 
Qualified candidates must have experience in the following:

 12 years of related DoD experience

 Program management experience with P&L responsibility

 Systems Engineering or design engineering in Electronic Warfare (EW)

 Experience presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures such as IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC

 Leading teams and developing talent

Desired Skills:

 Effective communication skills 

 Managed and coordinated with other programs to ensure schedule alignment

 Direct experience with proposal development and pricing

 Experience in all phases of program life cycle/execution

 Ability to interface directly with customer and end-users

Required Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
