Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our project manager is responsible for the research, initiation, coordination and management of assigned projects as well as coordinating project tasks with internal and external resources.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, manage and execute, multiple, simultaneous, large and small scale projects.
• Plan and manages a project through delivery, directing the project team and influencing stakeholders.
• Directs a small number of project team members who are from within their work group.
• Ensure the project is on target, identify issues and present resolutions, facilitation of meetings, and update management on projects. Make recommendations to management for improvements to various projects, tasks and objectives.
• Work with users and technical teams to create project plans and specification requirements

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization and externally with vendors.
• Ability to organize and conduct effective meetings with team members and stakeholders.
• Be highly self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and enjoy learning new things.
• Anticipate issues or needs before they escalate, proactively drive toward a solution.
• Possess a strong work ethic – the ability to work and stay focused until a job is done regardless of time, day, and location are essential.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a FAST-PACED, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in the relevant industry. 
• Hands on experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Hands on experience with application redesigns and integrations
