SEC reporting Manager

Job Description

We are searching for an SEC Reporting Manager experience for one of our clients in the Northern San Fernando Valley area. Candidates must have large company, Big 4 and SEC experience.



Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, present and file SEC filings including, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K,
  • Prepare documentation of proposed and executed accounting transactions
  • Research and monitor new GAAP pronouncements and analyze their impact on the company
  • Prepare documentation on the application of GAAP to non-routine transactions
  • Work with senior management in relation to accounting transactions
  • Research new accounting pronouncements and the applicability to the company
  • Prepare and implement new policies and procedures in relation to new accounting pronouncements.
  • Assist, draft and review reports filed with the SEC and managing documentation requirements

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Must have a CPA
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience working for big 4 on public companies
  • Experience working with large companies (over $500million in revenue)
  • Must have SEC experience
  • Will consider mix of public and private, but big 4 experience must be within last 2 years
