COME BE A PART OF OUR EXPANDED PROGRAM WITHIN THE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION The Mental Health Association of CT is expanding the current Supportive Apartment Program that provides services to the young adult population. The following full and part time positions are available: Full-Time Position: 12 midnight -8am Part-time positions: Saturday and Sunday 4-12midnight Saturday and Sunday 12midnight-8am All these positions require flexibliity to cover weekends, holidays and be part of our team commitment. Description - Residential Counselor: Several Part time positions for various shifts including nights & weekends. 4 year degree required and experience with young adults preferred. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles. Knowledge of growth and development stages. Understanding/knowledge of motivational interviewing tecniques, trauma sensitive practices and principles of Person Centered Planning. Responsibilities include - Residential Counselor : Counseling, Case work, Crisis intervention, ADL skills, Daily documentation. Job Requirements Residential Counselor/TYA Requirements - Residential Counselor / Case Management: BA or BS or equivalent experience Must have a Valid driver license Must have own vehicle with legal registration and auto insurance .
