Dental Assisting Instructor-Chicopee, MA

We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assisting Instructor for our Chicopee campus. Qualify candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for at-risk students. Below you will a brief description of some of the duties and responsibilities as well as qualifications. Qualifying candidates must be DANB certify.

 

Responsibilities

1. Present facilitative, enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus and school policy.
2. Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines.
3. Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, computation, problem solving and decision making.
4. Challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage the participation in learning while maintaining mutual value and respect.
5. Provide students with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects.
6. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance.

 

 

    Massachusetts:

• High School Diploma or GED plus certificate in specialty to be taught plus 5 years of documentable occupational work experience.
• DANB certificate
