Medical Data Systems, Inc. (MDS) a leader in revenue cycle management is seeking energetic, motivated individuals with above average communication skills that want an opportunity to grow for the Collections Department in our Sebring, Florida office.

Summary of Collector

• In this position, the qualified individual will be making out-bound collection calls to patients regarding their medical invoice/bill answering questions and setting up payment/payment plans.
• The Collector will utilize various collection strategies and methodologies to contact consumers in order to negotiate payment in full or payment arrangements on debt within federal, state and client collection guidelines and laws.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a Medical Collections setting preferred.
• Knowledge of health care financing and Medical Collections preferred.

• MUST PASS A PRE EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK
• High School Diploma or equivalent: some college preferred
• Must type 25 WPM
• Must be computer literate and able to make a high volume of outbound calls.
• Previous Collection experience preferred but not required
• Previous Call Center experience preferred but not required
• Clear speaking voice required
• Strong verbal communication skills required
