Description

As the fourth largest coatings company in North America and the sixth largest globally, we have a job opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to work at our Green Oaks, IL distribution center on our 2nd shift (job hours 2pm-10:30pm).
Responsibilities:
-Complete and process a variety of documents, forms and materials needed in the shipping of hazardous/non-hazardous materials ensuring compliance with D.O.T., hazardous materials, HSE and other regulations (bill of ladings, packing lists, etc.).
-Process paperwork in the receiving of incoming shipments
-Enter data into computer to update information on incoming/outgoing shipments.
-Contact transportation carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, confirming shipping, etc.
-Assist truck drivers when they arrive at office by directing them to loading areas, handling necessary paperowrk and releasing shipments.
-Participate in safety huddles with warehouse team.
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements
-Education Level: High school diploma or GED
-Experience: 2 years shipping, receiving, or transporation clerical support
-
Must have previous training / knowledge of D.O.T. requirements and paperwork completion
-Good PC skills (MS Office) and applicable applications
-Good interpersonal skills
-Excellent attention to details
-Self-motivated; able to work independently

Must be able to work 2nd shift hours (2pm-10:30pm), plus daily or Saturday overtime, when needed.
