Description Define vendors and award Purchase Orders for Materials//Parts within his commodities group
Advise and represent us in negotiations with vendors
Analyze reports to obtain current information concerning all phases of procurement to control budget, procurement objectives, and effective procurement techniques
Supervise and oversee the work of assigned group: 1) Monitor quantity and quality of work, 2) Review buying activity, 3) Instruct and direct buyers and provide feedback to same.
Identify problem areas and recommend solutions with the Procurement Manager
Direct work generated by assigned group to insure accuracy and compliance with requisitions from factories of the Group and procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

8 years of procurement from high-tech manufacturing industry with minimum 3 years in aerospace industry

Proven Supervisory experience
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industry
Strong written and oral communication skills
Well organized and adaptable with a flexible approach
Good pc skills
CPM preferred
