Dietitians- Nutritionists – Fee For Service- Home Care

St. Mary’s Healthcare for Children is currently seeking registered nutritionists for Home Care Visits in the Manhattan area.  Responsibility includes performing comprehensive  nutritional assessment of assigned  patients who have difficulty in complying with dietary restrictions, difficulty in understanding complex dietary restrictions, exhibit high nutritional risk, show evidence of malnutrition or slow wound healing process and other nutritional problems ; develop care plans;   counsel patient and caregivers to promote healthy eating habits within various  multicultural community settings.

Current Registration with the American Dietetic Association.

Certification from the New York State  Department of Education

Education:  Bachelor‘s degree major in Nutrition. Master’s Degree in nutrition or public health preferred.

Experience: Two years of professional experience as a registered dietitian required with experience in Pediatrics preferred.
