Executes on and drives forward marketing initiatives, programs and activities under limited supervision by the Director of Marketing by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

 

  • Develops and implements and tracks the creation, scheduling, production and delivery of sales, marketing, and packaging materials to ensure the smooth process flow of meeting project deadlines within the department.

     

     

  • Manage all marketing programs for the military segment.

     

     

  • Creates advertising schedules and placement to ensure that SureFire engages in relevant advertisement opportunities.

     

     

  • Work closely with the Public Relations Specialist by engaging in regular in-person meetings in order to facilitate requests in a timely manner to media for adequate press release coverage.

     

     

  • Manage marketing communications project timelines and budgets to ensure that the appropriate resources are allocated and that marketing projects will be delivered on time and within budget.

     

     

  • Work closely with Director of Marketing by attending regular meetings in order to determine the plan for development of yearly marketing plans.

     

     

  • Identify, develop and manage marketing programs and campaigns, including dealer and partner programs, direct mail, new product launches, etc. by researching the marketing techniques of our competitors to ensure that we leverage the Company’s branding message to the appropriate marketplace.

     

     

  • Work with the appropriate Marketing staff and sales members by attending regular meetings in order to develop a strategy and plan for online advertising and communications campaigns.

     

     

  • Work closely with copywriter and graphics design team by attending regular meetings in order to develop a range of corporate and field marketing materials including collateral, website content, seminars, trade show materials, and sales tools.

     

     

  • Supervise the Marketing Administrator position - including training and professional development, work assignments, etc.

     

     

  • Manage the development and launch of retail promotions and merchandising programs.

     

     

  • Process and implement marketing initiatives as assigned by the Director of Marketing by arranging and attending regular meetings with Sales and Engineering to effectively communicate details of marketing programs among the departments.

     

     

  • Offer brainstorming ideas and improvement suggestions pertaining to Marketing initiatives by presenting them during regular department meetings in order to foster the team environment and make valuable contributions.

     

     

  • Review design specification sheets, obtains and prepares bids, and acts as liaison with vendors in such areas as delivering marketing material, scheduling proofs, and meetings to ensure that there is one point person for outside vendors to interface with.

     

    Requirements :

     

  • Education - B.S. or B.A. degree with 3 to 6 years experience. M.B.A. a plus, but not required.

     

     

  • Experience in retail merchandising and promotion.

     

     

  • Experience managing relationships with publications and advertising activities.

     

     

  • Military experience is a plus.
