Account Representative
Aflac Regional Broker Development Rep
Aflac is looking for a life/health insurance professionals to fill two Regional Broker Development Rep positions in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You will work closely with our Brokerage Development Manager in establishing new contacts with broker market and prospects to sell company products within a designated geographic territory or by nature of clients. Focus on personal sales targets and new business development.
Focus on consultative interactions with individual brokers and/or brokerage firm clients. Review account’s business and benefit data to ascertain what products/services will meet client needs and circumstances.
Representative Activities
- Meet personal sales targets as established focusing on brokerage lead accounts
- Receive periodic coaching from supervisor or more experienced professionals
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals subject to review by supervisor
- Participate in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives
- Develop close business relationships with local small and large regional brokers
- Promote Aflac products and services to assigned brokers on regular bases
- Adhere to highest degree of professionalism and ethics

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years proven insurance sales experience, with preference for professional life/health products & services including FSA’s, HSA and HRA
