The Manager is responsible for the development of new and existing sales representatives. The manager role is also responsible for boosting the overall production of mini vacation packages. Managers have daily communication with their District Manager and are responsible to their Regional Director.
To be a selling manager who develops a team of associates that produce qualified prospects is the focal point of this position. The Manager has financial/budgetary responsibilities. The Manager facilitates the sales of mini vacations, encourages and helps their sales team to exceed the minimum expectations defined by the budget while maintaining high Average Price per Guest (APG) and Activation levels. The Manager must maintain a positive relationship with Bass Pro management and associates. The Manager also supports their sales team by providing training, recruiting and collateral and builds a successful sales team that is held accountable for the minimum production requirements.
· Responsible for the work performance of the sales staff.
· Recruit, hire and train sales staff.
· Maintain appropriate staffing levels at all times and in accordance with Bass Pro operating hours.
· Enforce all standards including minimum sales, visuals, collateral, dress code, and lead collection.
· Operational responsibilities include payroll, new hire processing, ordering, and report generation.
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with our Bass Pro partners.
Sales or Marketing experience is required.
Management experience is preferred.
Sales management experience is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare industry, OPC marketing, and telemarketing sales is helpful.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
