Design, develop, and test aircraft systems and components for stress capabilities using the principles of engineering. Analyze, research, develop and test structures for strength, stress, corrosion resistance and stability of metals or non-metallic structural materials; evaluate damage tolerance, durability, operational characteristics and design allowables; perform structural modeling and design criteria development; conduct formal strength-check analysis under FAA guidelines; analyze prototype structural modifications; and use mechanical engineering principles to correlate test data with analytical components.
