We are a well-known and growing financial services firm based in Baltimore, focused on using technology to move our organization to ever greater heights. We are searching for a strong Front End Web Application Developer that has experience developing in a Microsoft .Net web environment.
For this Downtown Baltimore based role, we are searching for someone with experience developing custom usability and innovative user interaction functionality with jQuery or JavaScript. This is a permanent position. Our multiple high volume sites are hit thousands of times per month and the web savvy of our demanding user base varies wildly. So our goal is to bring in a strong web developer that has recent experience incorporating prevailing dynamic web programming techniques with jQuery or JavaScript to enhance the functionality and ease of use of our frontward facing web sites.
We run a sophisticate enterprise development environment and our sites are data driven base on C# .Net and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. We have existing functionality in place and while it could be enhanced, we are hoping to largely replace existing JavaScript with freshly written custom jQuery or new JavaScript.
We pay very competitive salaries and our benefits are excellent. This position is eligible for our annual bonus that ranges from 8-14%.

- 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- No Less than 2 years of experience developing in a .Net environment
- No Less than 2 years of experience creating custom functionality with jQuery or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Web development techniques
- Strong understanding of code creation focused on reusability and documentation
- PLUS: Experience with JSON
- PLUS: Experience with SOAP, RESTful development, the MVC design famework Must be a team player.
