Job Description

Serves as liaison between Human Resources and Finance with respect to compensation and personnel cost information, providing both departments with data analysis, forecasting and reporting that supports demanding business needs.
  • Sources and implements a system for more efficient and effective gathering of time allocations for purposes of costing out associates for reimbursement from Funds and other third party managed accounts.
  • Develops, maintains and generates all headcount, turnover and compensation related data reports required for Human Resources, Finance, and Rating Agencies; including in depth analysis, interpretation, and executive reports & presentations.
  • Maintains all compensation data and tools, prepares annual compensation plan including salary reviews and bonus program, prepares compensation budgets, tracks monthly performance vs. budget and provides monthly bonus accrual reports.
  • Performs quarterly allocations of payroll costs and benefits across business lines and entities for purposes of cost reimbursements and profitability assessments.
  • Produces written analysis in the form of memo’s and supporting spreadsheets for third parties regarding support for cost allocations made and requests for cost reimbursement.

    Job Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, business administration, human resources or other related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a finance/accounting environment with compensation and personnel cost experience or in a compensation role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience including tables, advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong Database skills, with PeopleSoft experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret, draw conclusions and prepare written reports to executives and third parties
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must be team-oriented and work well in a collaborative environment
  • Proficient skills in Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet changing deadlines with short notice
