Position Summary:
Responsible for leading the training and development organization including the strategic alignment to corporate goals, ownership of all educational content, and program delivery for the three branches of the organization. The Manager, Learning & Development will advise the business on the most suitable learning approaches and best practices in order to increase skills and experience in leadership, sales, technical expertise and other role specific requirements.
General Responsibilities:
- Creates a long-term strategy to ensure that all branches of the organization support the companies strategic plan and business objectives
- Develops and delivers best-in-class customized leadership, educational, technical and industry specific programs that increase professional development and supports retention for a highly skilled work force
- Leverages a powerful framework of thought leaders, opinion leaders and partners to help achieve the learning agenda
- Provides consistent design, development, delivery and measurement of training programs
- Evaluates learning programs and instructor effectiveness through the collection of data and feedback from a variety of internal and external customers using established tools
- Advocates a learning culture in the organization, promoting career planning and employee driven learning opportunities
- Sets, fosters and continuously evolves the cultural tone of the organization in leadership, coaching, performance improvement and engagement
- Manages the training budget and related expenses
