Job Description

  • Attend virtual customer service training classes to learn the job from 10:00am - 7:00pm EST Monday through Friday for 6 weeks
  • Receive inbound calls from your home office, assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues, programming, equipment, and account needs to ensure one call resolution
  • Offer enhanced services to customers
  • Meet daily quality goals and customer survey performance metrics
  • Provide outstanding customer service support
  • Communicate company policies to customers
  • Utilize call center computer technology to input, track and report customer issues
  • Work EVENING SCHEDULE that includes SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS once training is complete.
  • Meet daily schedule adherence requirements and maintain excellent attendance

 

 Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.  Advanced education or technical training is a plus
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service skills, preferably in a technical support role
  • High level of PC knowledge including familiarity with a Windows Vista or 7 or above environment
  • Proficient in using multiple types of technology – DVRs, Cable, Satellites, hooking up TVs
  • Ability to type 30 wpm
  • Home office space free of distractions
  • Functional computer with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (No XP)
  • High-speed internet service
  • Residential phone lines with a landline
  • Corded headset with noise reduction microphone
  • Previous, proven success of working from home as a customer service or technical representative a plus
  • Outstanding listening skills, professional telephone manner and ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers in a fast paced virtual call center setting
  • Must be flexible to work shifts as required (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Must be able to attend all scheduled training classes and pass required exams during the -6 week training period

 

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $9.50 plus. 10% differential for bilingual Spanish skills
