ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review and oversee various compliance and consumer affairs requirements, rules and regulations for various state agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Review and oversee compliance utility tariffs and PUC/PSC requirements
  • Work with functional counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance (Finance, HR, Operations)
  • Monitor in-take of customer complaints
  • Interact with Channel Partner and Channel Partner Manager to investigate customer complaints
  • Communicate with PUCs, utilities and/or other regulatory bodies, as necessary, regarding customer complaints and XOOM process
  • Draft communications to state agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Track customer complaints from PUCs, utilities, Customer Care Center and other regulatory bodies
  • File and/or oversee filing of necessary compliance reports, updates and renewals with various state agencies and regulatory bodies

  

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 Requirements
  • Background in compliance or consumer affairs or ability to read and interpret statutes, regulations and tariffs
  • Well-organized and thorough, even under pressure.
  • Enjoy working within a target-driven team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a small company environment and in a dynamic market where each week brings new challenges
  • Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity are musts

 

  

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Basic understanding of corporate law
  • Juris Doctorate preferred but not required
