JOB DESCRIPTION:
Part Time Sales Assistant needed to provide support for our Hagerstown, MD Dan Ryan Builders Communities. This position will be responsible for part time staffing of community model homes, provides support in the absence of the Sales Manager, greets visitors, demonstrates the home and its features, provides general information to model home customers and more.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Weekend work is required
• Staffs model home office
• Answers telephone inquiries
• Maintains appointment book for Sales Manager
• Greets customers
• Demonstrates model home; provides information on home features and benefits
• Provide information regarding community and surrounding area
• Inspect the grounds and models for maintenance problems
• Ensures cleanliness of model homes
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Punctual
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
• Customer service driven
• Displays a friendly, enthusiastic, personable manner
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• HSD and 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior customer service experience in new homes sales is preferred
