Title: Quality Control Inspector (Job# 675513)
Location: near Gurnee, IL
Duration: Contract to Perm
Hrs: 7am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned routine tests on materials, goods in process or finished goods where results are compared with company quality standards.
- Complete In Process Inspection to ensure production is completing processes correctly as defined in the production work instructions and as defined in the blue print.
- Verify electrical test set up to ensure testing is being done correctly for each job.
- Utilize inspection and test equipment (caliper, micrometer, comparator, ruler, Micro-Vu, meters, Cirris Testers, Etc.) to verify products to specification.
- Communicate product/process/documentation discrepancies and potential discrepancies to aid continuous improvement efforts to the Quality Supervisor.
- Complete labels, certificates of compliance and other customer documentation as required.
- Enter daily scrap for inventory control and to for improvement analysis.
- Suggest opportunities for improvement for the company.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years exp. as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read blue prints and drawings (GDT).
- Read and understand process documents and industry standards.
- Team Player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
- Experience using basic inspection and test equipment (ruler, caliper, and meter).
- Must understand basic math skills, including fractions, decimals and basic statistical techniques.

TITLE: Quality Technician (Job#663613)
Location: Aurora, IL
Duration: 6 months possible contract to perm
- Perform first article inspection and line audits
- Perform first article inspections for new molds and modified molds.
- Document inspection results
- Use precision measurement equipment and Calibrate scales
- Perform incoming inspection for finished goods and starting materials.
- Visually inspect all CE mops and document results with initials and date.
- Make process books for injection molding, extrusion and tube mill
- Review shop orders
Key Skills:
- Thorough understanding of Quality and Manufacturing principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to make a plan, execute a plan, and measure results.
- Familiarity with and ability to use computer and software Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, and Comcol

Hours: 2nd shift : 5pm – 1:30am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulates and maintains quality control objectives to maximize product reliability.
- Provides inspection and testing services to ensure continuous control over products.
- Assures that the sample produced conforms to the specification for the product.
- Classifies all dimensions of product and key numbers them on the drawing to ensure that this becomes part of the customer quality assurance plan.
- Inspects product following classifications.
- Estimates time required for completion of job.
- Records First Article Inspection report.
- Performs layouts on new programs and prepares reports for submittal to the customer with the PPAP.
- Performs annual layouts on existing programs as requested by the customer, and prepares reports for same.
- Performs capability and dimensional studies as requested by Quality, Project, and Manufacturing Engineers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employees in the Engineering - 1st Article Dept. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Knowledge of vision system and CMM a huge plus
