Lead Accountant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Plant Controller, the Lead Accountant - Manufacturing is responsible for various higher level plant cost accounting and/or financial accounting functions and will participate in both finance and non-finance teams and projects. The incumbent may be required to perform functions of the Plant Controller during their absence.
Each associate is required to demonstrate personal commitment to the standards set forth in The General Cable Code of Ethics and Compliance Guidelines and use sound judgment in maintaining appropriate compliance procedures and in carrying out their duties with honesty, in compliance with laws and with high ethical standards.
We are seeking candidates with good interpersonal skills – ability to work with all levels and comfortable spending 50% of time on the shop floor, as well as attention to detail - Critical thinker with excellent analytical abilities. A successful candidate will be a high energy individual who can demonstrate urgency and fast pace.

- BS / BA in Finance or Accounting and/or CPA / MBA
