The Nurse Connection Staffing is hiring certified nursing assistants (CNA) to fill per diem supplemental staffing needs of our business partners throughout the Capital Region of New York State and surrounding 8 counties. Our partners include long term care facilities and school districts. In the long term care facilities our CNAs work to ensure resident health and safety by assisting with daily living activities. In the school setting our CNAs work one on one with children and adults with special needs.

 The Nurse Connection Staffing has many partners with opportunities to keep your schedule as busy as you want. We will work with you to find the day, evening or night CNA shifts you want – and even 12 hour shifts might work best for you!

 Our staffing coordinators have built solid relationships with our partners and our CNA staff. This means we often are offered a chance to fill shifts BEFORE other staffing agencies! To qualify for applying with The Nurse Connection Staffing you must hold a valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Current medical documentation to include physical and PPD within the past year and proof of MMRs (immunizations or Titers).

 To work as a certified nursing assistant/LPN in one of our specialty areas you must meet these additional requirements

 Long term care requirements:

Within the past three (3) years you must have six months full time experience working in LTC or nursing home setting.

 School District requirements and Children and Adults with Disabilities:

Ability to relate and focus with a child or adult with special needs. Experience working with ARC residents is helpful.
