Position Description:
Ingenix is currently seeking an experienced, versatile Business Intelligence Architect to join our Business Intelligence development effort. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, experience in the complete software development life cycle and proven ability to build solutions from the ground up in a fast paced environment. Reporting to, and working closely with the Business Intelligence Program manager, the candidate will join a small, cross-functional team, collaborating with peers internally and with clients externally, to create and deliver Healthcare Business Intelligence solutions to clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will have successfully led a data warehousing implementation and have deep familiarity with healthcare data sources such as Allscripts Touchworks, GE Centricity and Epic.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for full lifecycle of Business Intelligence projects from inception through successful client implementation
- Work with clients to gather requirements
- Transform requirements into data flows, database design, report delivery and presentation
- Design and execute software and data validation plans
- Evaluate technologies and products
- Responsible for technical analysis, solution design, system scaling, product configuration and installation and testing for a successful client implementation
- Mentor and guide junior level technical services personnel in the team

Qualifications:
Requirements:
- 5+ yrs experience software development experience in database applications
- 3+ years Business Intelligence development experience OR 3+ yrs Healthcare Application Development experience
- Intelligence, drive and the ability to innovate
- Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle, at least one product built from inception through client delivery
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to work in mixed technical environments
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Proven ability to deliver software solutions on time
- Experience in project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be a good listener
- Strong quality and customer satisfaction focus
Assets:
- Experience with at least one of the following systems strongly preferred: Allscripts Touchworks, GE Centricity Business Solutions, Practice Solutions, Epic, and Cerner & McKesson
- Experience with MS Business Intelligence tools; i.e. SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SharePoint
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources
