Requirements of Farmers Insurance Agent :

No previous insurance experience is required, as we train our new agents.

As an Insurance Agent, you must have organizational and time-management skills as well as interpersonal communication abilities. We are seeking individuals from any background who are willing to work hard and commit themselves to the success of this business opportunity; however, experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service is a plus.

Additional requirements of the Insurance Sales Agent include :


  • A desire to help others
  • Positive thinking
  • A good credit history - no bankruptcies in the past 3 years
  • A favorable criminal record - no felonies

 

Insurance Agents are leaders in their communities and should be able to conduct themselves as such.
