| Job Description |
This regular full-time position will be responsible for clinical laboratory testing, evaluation of initial laboratory test results and documentation of laboratory data. The position will report to the Clinical Laboratory Management Team. The responsibilities will include:
- Automated and manual test procedures of routine and non-routine clinical analyses
- Maintenance of QA/QC records - calibration of laboratory equipment, preparation of reagents and standard solutions, monitoring and evaluating statistical data.
- Identification of data trends, reporting adverse results and making corrective recommendations to Clinical Laboratory Management Team
- Adhering to established test methods and maintaining laboratory documentation standards for all procedures
- Utilize Universal Precautions and follow site safety guidelines and PPE requirements
- Advancing professional knowledge through internal training programs, continued education programs, industry conferences, lectures and periodicals.

| Job Requirements |
For Immediate Consideration the ideal candidate must possess:
- NYS Dept of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with a specific concentration in PCR, Cell Culture, Cell based assay, ELISA, Immunology and Flow Cytometry
Education:
- BS degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or equivalent
The nature of this laboratory position will require extended periods of standing and the ability to lift up to 10 lb sample loads |
