Job Description

This person is a key commercial lender of a growing community contributing to the origination of commercial loans.

·         MUST HAVE STABLE WORK HISTORY!

·         Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. 

·         Developing referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other sources in order to proactively solicit business and conduct sales-related activities, in order to meet specific loan volume origination goals

·         Approves loans within assigned limits, manages loan and portfolio credit quality, sources prospects and develops new customer relationships. 

·         Acting as the front line contact with customers and realtors to ensure that documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner.

·         Identifies and successfully capitalizes on cross-sell opportunities and makes appropriate referrals.

Job Requirements 

- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of commercial lending experience

 

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of credit and credit quality
- Thorough knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
