Job Description .NET Developer
This is a direct-hire position with a well-established and stable company located in Springfield, Illinois. Job Requirements Technical Skills:
- Competent in one or more modern programming languages (C#, Visual Basic,
Java, C++)
- Strong working knowledge of .NET framework
- Strong working knowledge of SQL query
- Visual Studio 2010/2012
- Strong C# developer who has web skills, backend skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and Project Life Cycle principles
- Agile Methodology
- Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio and modern code repository
products
- Working knowledge of web development design languages, scripting tools, and
protocols such as HTML, XML, HTTP, HTTPS, ASP, CSS, AJAX, Java Script
- Working knowledge of client-side and server-side scripting
- Multimedia technology experience such as Flash and Silverlight desired
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or other related
field, Or equivalent work experience. Must have a commitment to continuing
education..
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Responsibilities:
- Works on distributed applications to maintain steady state of operations
- Works on applications to correct programming errors using key debugging skills and problem resolution procedures
- Interfaces with IT management, project teams, IT Operations, and occasionally with business partners to assist with problem solving and project plan activities
- Mentors and coaches more junior technical staff
- Application design, development, code testing, and debugging for .NET web applications and web site functionality
- Installs and implements programs, enhancements, and upgrades
- Diagnoses and resolves system problems in coordination with other technical team members
- Coordinating network configuration requirements with application and web platform requirements for desired functionality and performance
