Our client is looking for a financial analyst to oversee aspects of their profit and loss, and value added analysis. With over $10 billion in annual revenues, this consumer products manufacturing and distribution organization has position itself as a leader in the marketplace and is comprised of strong professionals. 

Within this role you will serve as a financial liaison between operations and the financial team assisting with budgeting, forecasting and overall monthly financial analysis.  Despite the recession, this organization is swelling with opportunity based on their R&D group and partnership with a $10 billion international healthcare company they will continue to grow. 

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior management on the creation of an annual operating plan with monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts
• Conduct profitability analysis by SKU level and variance analysis to explain change
• Prepare analysis of operational expenses with reference to the yearly budget and historical financial performance of the company. 
• Report discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis to senior management
• Work to develop strong reporting tools to project financial results
• Review and propose programs based on their cost / benefit analysis
• Participate in all aspects of budget development and review
