We ask that you have a proven record of outstanding sales ability and be PA State licensed (in good standing) in Property & Casualty; Life and Health a big plus. This is a chance to have your own agency without the overhead or financial commitment.

Nationwide Insurance & Financial Services, a leader in property casualty and financial services products has immediate opportunities for dynamic sales individuals in our Philadelphia, PA office.

 

* This position is a combination of inside and outside sales, so not only will you need to be presentable but also be able to establish relationships over the phone.

Requirements

Must be a Licensed Insurance Associate Agent and you will meet the following requirements:

 

  • Pennsylvania P&C Licensed; Life and Health a plus
  • Drive to Achieve-The ability to set and pursue challenging goals with a high degree of intensity and desire to compete
  • Entrepreneurship-Willingness to be responsible for ones own business as well as a willingness to take risks to achieve rewards
  • People/Service Orientation-Friendly, Energetic, outgoing, caring and committed to helping people
  • Prior sales experience extremely valuable.

 

Duties include:

  • Develop prospects through an organized agency direct solicitation program, identify business opportunities using contacts and databases and establish affiliations through community affairs, affiliations and other contacts.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Nationwide Insurance standards.
  • Create and execute company personal marketing plans
  • Act with honesty and integrity
  • Become a pillar in your community

 

COMPENSATION

This is a commission-driven position based on experience and sales ability, with plenty of room for financial growth opportunities.
