Description Job Description:

Ongoing Telegence production sustainment support.
Need a UNIX Oracle physical DBA for client's Oracle-based applications.
Responsibilities will include DBMS installation, sizing, and building data bases and tables, monitoring, tuning, and performance management of the DB environment, definition with client and day-shift groups, implementing off-shift maintenance work when necessary to meet team objectives, and providing comprehensive turnover documentation to night team personnel when appropriate.
Oracle physical DBA expertise (minimum 3 years), SQL coding familiarity, UNIX environment familiarity and scripting skills, strong problem solving skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, self- directed with good organizing and planning skills, supportive of standards.
Mst wear pager and participate in 24X7 support, must be willing to work off-shift when necessary, disciplined approach to performing job requirements, effective participant in a team environment and client-focused.
