Responsible to the Department Director to provide evaluation and treatment to the patient prescribed by the physician within the guidelines of the Physical Therapy Licensure Law and hospital's and departmental policies and procedures.  Evaluates and implements plan of care to restore and enhance performance.  Performs documentation and quality improvement as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrates fidelity to Saint Margaret Mercy Healthcare Center¿s mission; displays a high regard for human life and respects the dignity, uniqueness, worth, and rights of each individual.
The  Physical Therapist is required to be qualified to evaluate and treat pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
