Description Nashville College of Medical Careers was established in 1976 as one of the first colleges in Tennessee to specialize in Medical Assistant field.

The opportunities are great. Government studies reveal that from the nation’s largest employer, the health field may well be the nation’s largest and fastest field of employment. More and better jobs are available every day, and they are advancing in both responsibilities and salary scale.

At Nashville College of Medical Careers, you may select Medical Coding Specialist program which combines classroom study with practical laboratory experience and clinical internship. The morning classes are from 8:15 to 12:05 for nine months, Monday - Friday. The night classes are eleven months, Monday – Thursday. Monday nights and Thursday nights are from 5:30 - 9:20 and Tuesday and Wednesday nights are from 5:45 to 8:35.
