Change Board Level 4 

Support the Boeing Charleston configuration change board through the receipt, packaging, submittal, maintenance, and monitoring of airplane changes (including the associated products) in the lifecycle of change request to change incorporation on airplane sections.

Must have a strong aptitude to evaluate submitted changes for accuracy and completion.

Develop or assist in the maintenance of processes to manage change activities to meet the requirements of the 787 Program and Boeing Charleston.

Assists with development and maintenance of change incorporation plans by coordinating with different stakeholders (manufacturing, engineering, planning, Program office, etc) with an ability to obtain commitments.

Assists with development and posting of configuration change management metrics to provide visibility to management.

Reports delinquencies and other issues to leadership in a manner that supports early resolution.

Must be able to negotiate and resolving issues during the review and approval process of proposed changes to the airplane baselines.

Experience with one or more of the following applications is highly desired:

General computing proficiency including Microsoft applications; change management and scheduling tools including, but not limited to, IBEX, ECAS/ETAC, OPP, EChange, CrossPoint; and Team Center Enterprise and Team Center Manufacturing.

Strong Configuration Management practical experience of aircraft products is required as well as a history and understanding of Configuration Management policy and procedure compliance.

Ability to interact within a multi-site management and technical organization is desired.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum education of High School Diploma/GED.
• The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and six (6) years of related experience, or a Master's degree and typically 4 or more year’s related work experience.
• Strong Configuration Management practical experience heavy manufacturing.
• Resume will show a history of the understanding of Configuration Management policy and procedure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft proficiency.
• Change management and scheduling tools including IBEX, ECAS/ETAC, OPP, EChange, Crosspoint, Team Center Enterpriseng and Team Center Manufacturing.
• Strong configuration management practical experience of aircraft products
• Ability and experience with interacting within a multi-site management and technical organization is desired.
• Strong Configuration Management practical experience of aircraft products.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
