REPORTS TO:                                  
 

 

 

  

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Schedule all anesthesia cases in all states (NY, NJ, CT, PA, NC, GA, KY)

  

·        Remain On-Call 24 Hours/Day year round including weekends and holidays (Answer all e-mails, blackberry pages, and cell phone)

  

·        Take emergency calls and rearrange schedule accordingly to ensure adequate coverage to all locations before scheduled start time

  

·        Intake all scheduling related phone calls, faxes, e-mails, blackberries, etc.

  

·        Answer all patient and client questions regarding fees, anesthesia, physician’s backgrounds, etc. (Make requests for credentials and fax to client if necessary)

·        Accommodate patients and clients by taking requests for specific physicians on particular dates of service  

·        Maintain a 3 to 4 physician core group per client (Assign only familiar docs to each facility)

·        Maintain physician and client restrictions (Use to keep track of which physicians are not allowed or refuse to work at particular facilities and/or specific surgeons on certain days)  

·        Obtain new client information and update on AtStaff Scheduling Software
