We are currently seeking Customer Retention Specialists to work in our inbound call center in Plano, TX who can start on December 7, 2009. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity not a temporary/contract job, with full benefits starting January 1, 2010. This position pays $12/hour plus monthly customer retention bonuses based on performance.

 

Job Summary:

Answers inbound phone calls from customers of our membership products such as Plan-Plus, Fun-Family Rewards, and Perfect Home Rewards. Answers customer inquiries, cross-sells applicable products, and attempts to retain customers who may be interested in cancelling their membership. Solicits sales of the organization’s products and /or services. 
 

This position requires an assertive and persistent person who is not bothered by potential rejection and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Stable work history required with historical job stability
  • Minimum of 2 years of Call Center experience with customer retention required 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills must speak clearly and professionally.
  • Must have a professional appearance
  • Ability to work in a structured environment and adhere to attendance policy and schedule requirements
  • Proficient with basic computer applications
  • Outgoing and friendly personality not easily intimidated, ability to handle customer rejection
  • Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism, salesmanship, teamwork, organization and customer service
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and diverse environment 
  • Ability to attend 3 weeks of paid training with no absences or lateness required
  • Ability to start training on December 7, 2009 . Training is for 16 days with no absences or tardiness allowed.
  • Candidates without call center experience will not be considered.
