We have a full time, paid opening for a Bachelor’s level Counselor at our Norfolk County Community Corrections program in Quincy, MA. In partnership with the Sheriff’s department and the Office of Community Corrections we provide counseling, training and referral services to offenders who need additional supports in relation to addiction.
In this position you will complete Intakes, Assessments and monthly reports, facilitate numerous groups including, but not limited to, addiction, life skills, and anger management. You will also provide case management and make referrals for additional services as needed. You will be part of a team of counselors that will share group responsibilities and participate in weekly Clinical Meetings and Behavior Management
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (psychology, education, counseling, social work, etc), a minimum of two years supervised counseling required and a Substance Abuse License preferred.
