Job Description

The Relief Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the hotel in the absence of the Resident GM. This includes taking care of the guests, reporting, employee relations, mentoring, teaaching, coaching, deposits, and more! Additionally, the Relief Manager may be required to live-on the property.

Motel 6 has evolved from a series of small properties built along highways to the largest company owned and operated budget hotel chain in North America with more than 800 locations (over 85,000 rooms) in the United States and Canada. Motel 6 is part or Accor, the largest owner-operator in the hospitality industry world wide, with over 3400 hotels in 90 countries.

Requirements

* Must be able to travel 80%
* 3+ years of Hotel or Restaurant management experience as a direct supervisor/manager.
* Proven performance record for developing and supervising a team of 10 or more employees.
* In addition, hiring, training, scheduling, employee relations & terminations.
* Strong knowledge of financial statments such as P&Ls.
* Able to perform basic computer skills with knowledge in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
