Position Description:

Reporting in to the Vice President of Global Sourcing, you will provide direct leadership to your sourcing team.   You will drive the improvements of the operational function of the organization’s sourcing practices and be a key player in developing and implementing savings initiatives throughout the organization.  Building relationships with key suppliers you’ll work jointly with other departments and teams to improve overall supplier quality and results.   Additionally, you’ll manage inventory levels with the end goal of hitting overall customer expectations.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with the drive and potential to move up one to two levels within the next several years – this position is highly visible within the organization. 

Candidates who possess an MBA Degree and ten years of progressive sourcing experience including international sourcing experience, along with a background in packaging, logistics & supply chain services, and commodities should take a serious look at this professional opportunity.  You will bring a proven track record of identifying and leading cost reduction initiatives and performance metrics along with strong experience and capabilities in manufacturing systems including lean manufacturing techniques .  CPM/CPIM designation strongly desired.
