Summary:

The Director of Neuropsychiatry is responsible for the management of psychiatric services at UCI Medical Center. The director provides services to meet physician and HealthSystem objectives in the following areas: a) patient care, b) teaching, c) research, d) clinical resource management e) developing and administering an operating budget for capital, and programs g) program development f) the direction, coordination and evaluation of patient care activities conducted in the following areas: inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry and research programs. Maintains direct supervision of the nurse supervisors, as well as indirectly supervising charge nurses and staff FTEs 7days a week, 24 hours a day.

* Current RN license
* Demonstrated management experience in a healthcare environment
* Experience working in psychiatric care nursing
* BSN or equivalent combintation of education and experience
