Description Under general supervision, the successful applicant will:

provide technical (software), hardware and network problem resolution;
Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional manner;
Provide one-on-one end-user training as needed;
Assist Network Technicians;
Troubleshoot network printer problems;
Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting;
Perform related work as required.

Requirements The incumbent will:

Identify, diagnose and resolve Level One problems for users on a mainframe system, personal computer software and hardware company network and the Internet;
Communicate solutions to end-users;
Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and mainframe, email, Internet, dial-in and local area network access problems;
Coordinate timely repair of PC computer equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements;
Perform minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements;
Assist with the installment of local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, hubs and switches.
