Director of Recreation Activity-Edison Adult Medical Day Care

Recreation Director is responsible for planning and implementing recreation services for a diversified population. We cater to Indian Korean Chinese participants

He/She will plan individual and group recreation services both therapeutic and general that will encourage and stimulate residents.

He/She will assure quality services through management of programs, supervising staff, effective care planning, adhering to all regulations.

English - Hindi - Gujuarti speaking preferred

Must meet state certification to be a recreation director.

Requirements Serve on, participate in and attend various committees of the facility - Care Plan Meeting, Department Head Meeting

Follow budget, track expenditures compared to budget on a monthly basis

Activity certification, or four year college degree in Therapeutic Recreation

Knowledge of how to develop newsletters, monthly calendars.

Strong Leadership Skills Activity Director Certification or degree in Therapeutic Recreation

Must be familiar with documentation requirements for Adult Medical Day Care.

Must possess leadership ability and creative motivational skills for effective communication and program develop with staff and residents.
