SALES REPRESENTATIVE - HEALTH CARE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute a sales plan strategy for assigned territory - Charleston based hospitals, Rehab Centers, Nursing Homes and Clinics
  • Establish commercially profitable relationships with health care managers, including discharge planners, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, clinics and doctor's offices
  • Focus on top 20 referral sources and bring a minimum of 1 referral per source per month
Requirements REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:

  • Experience in medical home care sales required
  • Bachelors degree or related experience
  • BSW/MSW, LPN or Allied Health degree highly desirable
  • Pass post-offer, pre-employment physical/medical history and evaluations

 COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Solid writing and speaking skills
  • Strong computer skills to operate proprietary CRM program
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • REQUIRED:  Working knowledge of health care in a home or institutional setting

     PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  •  Moderate physical activity, will require extensive walking in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities
  • Ability to travel on a daily basis throughout the entire service are of Charleston
