Description The academic faculty of St. John’s College Department of Nursing is entrusted to carry out those duties necessary for the ongoing implementation of a baccalaureate program in nursing which is consistent with the mission of the college including activities to maintain a qualified student body, a qualified faculty and a nursing curriculum which meets accreditation standards.

Inherent in the position is the necessity of providing coordinated clinical and classroom learning experiences for students.

Requirements

The Professor must possess a Doctoral degree with a major in Nursing and have a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in nursing. 6-8 Years of full-time teaching baccalaureate students or its equivalency Medical/Surgical nursing in a professional nursing program or at an accredited college or university. RN Licensure in the State of Illinois required.

Relocation may be available for out of state nurses.
