Account Manager – Pulp & Paper

Vancouver/Portland Area

  

DuBois Chemicals, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been servicing customers since 1920. Our specialized sales force – 300 strong – sells its chemistry, systems, programs, and solutions across North America in the following application segments: Fabrication & Finishing, Paper Chemicals, Water Treatment, Vehicle Cleaning, and Industrial Maintenance Products.

  

Due to business expansion, Dubois Chemicals currently has an Account Manager-Pulp and Paper opening. Account responsibility in Washington and Oregon State covering paper mill applications with existing and new customers.

  

This position will be responsible for:

  

  • Promote and sell industrial chemical products and solutions to potential and established customers. 
  • Identify potential prospects, developing dialogues with buying influences resulting in establishment of a sales process.
  • Participate as member of a sales team on projects involving multiple buying influences and longer, more complex sales cycles.
  • Conduct sales presentations to include demonstration of products as applicable.
  • Implement the “Value Delivery Program" to accounts specified by the Regional Business Director (RBD).
  • Maintain required territory records, files, prospect list and sales reports. Submit to RBD as required.
Requirements

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates should have:

  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience, preferably in pulp and paper
  • Demonstrated sales abilities and proven sales track record
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
  • Authorized to work in the United States
