Oracle Primavera Global Business Unit
The development group in the Primavera Global Business Unit is focused on developing enterprise level solutions for our customers in project intensive industries. Our applications provide project and portfolio management, contract management, resource management, and risk management solutions used by customers worldwide. We leverage an agile development methodology (scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, monthly sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often.
Technical Writer: Curriculum Development
We have an immediate opening for a Technical Writer in the Oracle Primavera Global Business unit. As a member of our Curriculum Development team, you will develop instructional material for customer training courses that support our Portfolio Project Management software solutions. Job responsibilities include analyzing new Primavera software releases to determine training needs and designing and developing instructor led and self paced courseware. You will work closely and communicate effectively with other technical writers, the product development team, and Oracle University.
Requirements
Preferred skills and experience:
BS in English or Technical Communications, etc
5 years curriculum development experience focused on technology.
Strong writing, editing, and design skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
High technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn technology.
Work both independently and within a team.
Experience in Primavera products and project management.
Multimedia authoring tools (e.g Oracle UPK).
Knowledge of Instructional Design concepts and principles.
The ideal candidate is flexible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, and has the interpersonal skills to contribute to a high performance team.
